Lampard will no doubt be delighted to see that the Chelsea faithful have not forgotten about him. The crowd paid tribute to him with a banner before kick-off. Though they are having a great campaign under Antonio Conte’s stewardship, there is little doubt that Chelsea could do with a midfielder like Lampard, whose contributions across the park were immeasurable in his prime.
