Manchester United have a superb chance to get back into the title race tonight after Arsenal’s slip-up. With the Gunners having dropped three points at Everton and facing Man City on Sunday, United have a huge chance to gain ground with a win over Crystal Palace tonight.
United are in good form, unbeaten since a loss to Fenerbahce at the start of November. They are playing better with each passing game and tonight should be relatively straightforward.
However if they want to break down a dangerous, if flawed, Palace side they will need Paul Pogba to put in another performance like last Sunday’s against United.
The former Juve midfielder will be up against France teammate Yohann Cabaye in midfield, and whichever of them is allowed to get on the ball more and control the game will likely earn the three points. If Cabaye’s platform of Joe Ledley and James McArthur can consistently win him the ball and keep Pogba out of the game, Palace have a real chance of being in this game right to the end.
