(Video) Scout Victor Lindelof, rapid £50m Man United transfer target who loves a slide tackle

Victor Lindelof is a centre-back with a difference.

Manchester United have made 22-year-old Benfica and Sweden centre-back Victor Lindelof their no.1 transfer target, according to The Mirror, who claim that the Red Devils will have to wait until the summer to sign him.

Lindelof, valued at £50m by the Daily Star earlier this month, is not your typical central defender.

Having played regularly at right-back in the past, the 6′ 2″ star is very comfortable on the ball.

Lindelof’s composure, coupled with his lightning pace, often allows him to break forward from the back.

Although he is composed in possession, he can be almost reckless without the ball. Hard-man Lindelof loves a slide tackle and he likes to go in firmly, although he usually stays the right side of the line when it comes to aggression.

The above video feature clips from last season, but Lindelof has been brilliant this term too.

He has not been dribbled past once in six Champions League games!
