Manchester City defeated Arsenal 1-0 in one of the title race’s early six-pointers.

It was Arsenal who took the lead through Theo Walcott. The England international drove between City’s make-shift defensive pairing and was found by a smart pass from Alexis Sanchez. Walcott made no mistake, firing low past Claudio Bravo and into the bottom corner. Click here to see Walcott’s opener.

City hit back through Leroy Sane’s first ever goal for the club. David Silva played a lofted pass over the Gunners defence and into the path of their German starlet. Sane kept his cool and beat Petr Cech. It was a goal that means Cech has not kept a clean-sheet in eight consecutive Premier League games – that will no doubt be a concern for Arsene Wenger. Pep Guardiola’s side then completed the comeback through Raheem Sterling. Kevin De bruyne found Sterling with a pinpoint cross-field ball. The City winger stepped inside Nacho Monreal and drilled the ball into Cech’s bottom corner. You can see Sterling’s winner here.
