Jay Rodriguez wrapped up all three points for Southampton against Bournemouth this afternoon with a stunning volley.
Rodriguez, who had scored just one goal in his previous 21 Premier League appearances going into today’s game, had already found the back of the net earlier in the game to complete the comeback for the Saints.
He was not finished there, however. The ball cannoned off of Nathan Redmond’s face and fell kindly at the feet of Rodriguez on the bounce. He may never strike a ball this sweetly again.
