Tottenham lead the race to sign 19-year-old midfield wonderkid and have already offered £19M

Juventus have decided not to enter a bidding war for midfielder wonderkid Franck Kessie, leaving Tottenham in pole position to sign him, report Calciomercato.

Calciomercato report that Juventus are not willing to part with more than £17 million to secure Kessie’s services, whereas Spurs have already lodged a £19 million bid.

As per Calciomercato, Tottenham could face competition from Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal. However, they believe that all of those sides would prefer to sign Kessie in the summer window, allowing Mauricio Pochettino’s side a free-run at the Ivorian in January.

Though just 19-years-old, Kessi has fast become a key player for Atlanta. He has already scored five goals and provided an assist in the Serie A this season, form that appears to have some of the Premier League’s biggest sides on high alert.

Calciomercato note that Juventus will instead wrap-up the signing of long-term target Axel Witsel, despite a last-minute move from Chelsea.
