In Paul Pogba, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Wayne Rooney and David de Gea, Manchester United already have at least four world stars in their current squad.
But they are reportedly in transfer talks to sign another, with The Sun claiming that the Red Devils have asked a leading agent to help put together a deal to get Antoine Griezmann to leave Atletico Madrid for Old Trafford.
The Sun add that the deal is expected to cost more than £60m (€71.37m) and is scheduled to happen next summer.
Griezmann would be an incredible signing for any team, but especially Man United, who are crying out for a dynamic no.10 to link their midfield and attack.
At just 25, Griezmann has time on his side, but, despite still being quite young, he has plenty of experience.
Griezmann has 39 senior caps for France, with 14 international goals.
Earlier this year, Griezmann came third in FIFA’s Ballon d’Or competition, only behind Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
Ibrahimovic and Pogba came 13th and 14th respectively.
