Gunners players looked in good spirits during Arsenal training today.
Perhaps the mood was lifted by the return from injury of striker Danny Welbeck, who can be seen in the video below racing midfielder Mohamed Elneny in a speed and agility test.
It looks as though Welbeck just nicked the win in his race with Elneny, but he didn’t seem to be trying as hard as the Egyptian.
One player who clearly wanted to win his duel was centre-back Gabriel Paulista, who clearly cheated his way to victory over Alexis Sanchez by skipping sections on the ladder.
Alexis wasn’t having it though and he grassed Gabriel up, while Arsene Wenger was seen chuckling.
Welbeck has not played for Arsenal since May 8 because of a serious knee injury, so Gunners fans might be relieved to see him taking it easy in training for now.
