On the face of it, this might not seem like huge news, but winger Nelson is tipped for a big future, so Arsenal have done well to get him to commit.

Nelson has already made his mark on the international scene with England, scoring nine goals in their U17 Euro Championship campaign, including three at the finals last summer.

As well as being backed to succed in the real world, Nelson is a Football Manager wonderkid.

He was recently named by The Telegraph as one of the 50 FM 2017 wonderkids to sign in a post-Brexit world.
