PSG are ready to test Liverpool’s resolve over the future of attacking midfielder Philippe Coutinho.
According to the Daily Express, the French club are preparing to make a new effort to sign the Brazilian after a £22m offer last summer was rejected.
It will take significantly more than that to sign Coutinho, who has had another excellent start to the season.
After spearheading Liverpool’s exceptional attack for the first three months of this term, the 24 year old picked up an ankle injury that has kept him out of action ever since.
But now the Express name Neymar and other papers Ronaldinho as players talking up a move to Barcelona too. It seems as though the top clubs are using all the tools at their disposal to try and get the superstar to pick their team ahead of another potential suitor. It’s not pretty to watch, but if Liverpool want to compete with the top clubs in the world they will have to get used these questionable tactics.
