Arsenal talisman who has contributed to a goal every 85 minutes this season targeted by Italian giants in audacious triple raid

Arsenal talisman Alexis Sanchez is a transfer target for Inter Milan as the Italian giants prepare a sensational triple raid for some of Europe’s top talents, report The Sun.

Sanchez has been in fine form for the Gunners so far this campaign. The Chilean has found the back of the net on 12 occasions in the Premier League this season, only Chelsea’s Diego Costa has scored more in the race for the Golden Boot. He has also provided six assists for his teammates, meaning he has directly contributed to a goal every 85 minutes this term.

There has been uncertainty over the striker’s future in recent months, however, as he is set to enter the final 18 months of his contract at the Emirates. The Sun believe that he is holding out for wages of up to £200,000-a-week, a figure that Arsene Wenger has thus far been unwilling to meet.

The Sun cite today’s edition of Corrieredellosport in reporting that Inter Milan could be set to take advantage of Wenger’s hesitancy and poach Arsenal’s star player as part of an audacious triple raid.

Corrieredellosport report that Inter are also interested in signing PSG duo Marco Verratti and Marquinhos as they look to return to the very top of European football.

Arsenal need to get Sanchez tied down to a new deal before it’s too late.
