Manchester United battle City for incredible £60m Tottenham double swoop

Both Manchester City and Manchester United are interested in Tottenham’s superb full back duo.
According to the Sun, the two clubs are set to battle it out over Danny Rose and Kyle Walker, who have been so impressive this season.

The paper suggests that it would be a £60 swoop with each costing half of that fee, but in reality with both under long term contract the fee would likely end up being a lot more.

Both Manchester clubs are struggling at full back, with a mixture of old, injury prone or downright not good enough players.

And both certainly have the money to spend – if they can convince the Spurs players to come.

But with Tottenham doing so well and Daniel Levy so notoriously difficult to deal with in negotiations, it’s hard to see either player leaving in January, just a few months into their respective new deals.

In the summer however, things could be very different.
