Everton defender who has made just six Premier League appearances this season considering his future at the club

Bryan Oviedo is looking to force a move away from Everton this month, according The Sun.

Oviedo emerged as a surprise package for the Toffees after signing for them in the summer of 2012. He fast became an important member of the squad under the stewardship of Roberto Martinez. His ability to play at left-back as a reserve for Leighton Baines or fill-in in midfield made him a useful utility option.

However, a horror leg break disrupted is run in the side. When he eventually returned from injury, he found his route into the starting side firmly blocked.

He has also made just six Premier League appearances so far this campaign under the stewardship of Ronald Koeman.

The Sun quote Oviedo confirming that he is now considering his future at Goodison Park: “I think about the option of joining another club, where I could play more regularly. The problem with Everton is that I’m not playing matches.”

It remains to be seen if any other Premier League sides would be interested in signing the Costa Rican this month.
