Manchester City host Tottenham this evening as both sides look to keep pace with Chelsea at the top of the Premier League table.
Spurs have been in fine form lately and their good run of results has seen them rise to second place. After a slow start to the campaign, they are now one of the frontrunners to lift the title.
All is not rosy for Manchester City, however. Pep Guardiola’s side were obliterated by Everton last weekend, falling to a 4-0 defeat at Goodison Park. They now trail Chelsea by ten points, and their title hopes are hanging by a thread. They simply cannot afford to lose today.
They are without Fernandinho, however, who is serving a four-match suspension after picking up his third red card of the season. Jan Vertonghen misses out for Spurs with an ankle injury.
