Leicester City have already conceded more Premier League goals this campaign than they did in the entirety of last season, report Opta.
The Foxes were worthy winners of the league title last time around. Claudio Ranieri took the reigns at the King Power stadium and fast transformed them into an extremely well-rounded side.
However, not all has been rosy so far this campaign. Leicester’s chances of defending their crown were over in the first few weeks of the season, and they now find themselves fighting to maintain their Premier League status.
As per Opta, their demise is perfectly epitomised by the scale of their defensive woes this term. Opta report that Ranieri’s men have already let in more goals than they did last season – and there’s still sixteen games left to play.
The champions need to get their act together if they want to avoid being drawn into the relegation battle.
