Chelsea host Brentford at Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon as they look to progress in the FA Cup.
Antonio Conte’s men sit eight points clear at the top of the Premier League table, and are now firm favourites to go all the way and win the title. Conte will undoubtedly feel the FA Cup is significant, as he looks to replicate compatriot Carlo Ancelotti and win Chelsea the double.
This game will likely provide an opportunity for Chelsea’s reserves to get minutes under their belts. Nathan Ake, who was recalled from his loan at Bournemouth this month, could well start either at the heart of the defence or at left-wing-back.
Nathaniel Chalobah and Ruben Loftus-Cheek both featured in the last round against Peterborough and could well make an appearance on Saturday.
There are no injury issues for Conte to deal with ahead of Saturday’s game, with every member of his squad fit and available.
