(Video) Tottenham seal sensational turnaround in seven-goal thriller with Wycombe

Tottenham Hotspur suffered a real scare in their FA Cup fourth-round clash with Wycombe Wanderers, but eventually came out winners in a 4-3 thriller at White Hart Lane.

Having fallen two goals behind via a double from Paul Hayes, Spurs looked as though they were on course to launch a stunning comeback through goals from Heung-Min Son and Vincent Janssen.

However, they fell behind again as Gary Thompson netted with a great header as the Premier League giants looked to be heading out. Alli had other ideas though, as he pounced late on and kept his composure to bag his ninth goal in his last eight games in all competitions.

Spurs weren’t done there either, as their late pressure to find a winner and avoid a replay was rewarded as Son bagged his second of the game, his fourth in his last four outings, to snatch the win in a cruel ending for the visitors.

Mauricio Pochettino will be a relieved man having made countless changes to his side, as they came very close to coming unstuck by Wycombe in a thrilling encounter in north London.

Instead, they now advanced to the next round and will undoubtedly be buoyed by the result heading into their Premier League clash with Sunderland on Tuesday night as they look to keep the pressure on at the top of the table with several first-team stars expected to return to action.
