Ighalo joined Watford in the summer of 2014, and immediately hit the ground running with the Hornets. The Nigerian bagged 20 goals in his debut season in the Championship, firing his side to promotion to the Premier League.

He established himself as one of the most prolific strikers in the league, but his form has fast nosedived. He has scored just one goal in 17 appearances this term, and Watford could well be ready to part with him.

As per The Sun, Watford are considering a £27 million proposal for Ighalo from a Chinese side. The tabloid beleieve that manager Walter Mazzarri could well be prepared to part with him.

This could be one to keep an eye on as we approach the final days of the transfer window.
