Wayne Rooney was presented with a golden boot ahead of Manchester United’s FA Cup clash against Wigan this afternoon as he celebrates becoming the club’s all-time top goal scorer.
Rooney overtook Sir Bobby Charlton in the Man United goal scoring rankings by bagging his 250th goal for the club. Fittingly, it was Charlton who presented the United captain with the award for bettering his tally. What an outstanding achievement it is by Rooney, 250 goals… and counting.
