Manchester United and Chelsea handed boost in their pursuits of Italian prodigy as agent hints he could be on the move

Agent Mino Raiola has hinted that Italian prodigy Gianluigi Donnarumma could leave AC Milan in the summer transfer window, report The Sun.

The story behind Donnarumma’s emergence is absolutely astonishing. The Italian made his Milan debut at the tender age of 16, and went on to make 30 Serie A appearances in the 2015/16 campaign.

He has now firmly established himself as one of the best goalkeepers in his home country, and has made that number one spot between the posts at the San Siro his own.

His good form doesn’t appear to have gone unnoticed. As per The Sun, Premier League giants Manchester United and Chelsea are both interested in securing his services.

The Sun report that Donnarumma has been criticised by Milan fans in recent weeks, as the Italian giants struggle in their search for Champions League football.

The tabloid cites Italian reports in quoting Raiola, who hints that his client could be on the move later this year: “We’ve taken note. We just have to see what kind of a club Milan are going to be, and I’ve already told Galliani this.”

Raiola went on to add: “I have to think of his interests and then we will see if there is any interest from Europe’s big clubs.”
