Spanish giants target Chelsea, Man United stars or AC Milan wonderkid in search for long-term fix

Real Madrid are reportedly offering Keylor Navas to clubs as they look to sign Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, David de Gea or Gianluigi Donnarumma as a replacement this summer.

Despite their good form this season and the pursuit of further silverware in the coming months, it appears as though there could be some key changes at the Bernabeu at the end of the season.

According to The Sun, Navas may be one of the senior players to be replaced, with the report suggesting that he’s been offered to Juventus, Lazio and Roma.

That’s because Real have big ambitions to sign one of the best shot-stoppers in the world, with three men on their transfer shortlist.

The La Liga giants are set on signing one of Courtois, De Gea or Donnarumma, but it remains to be seen how successful they are with those respective pursuits as all three individuals are integral to their current clubs.

While the links with Courtois and De Gea are nothing knew, it remains to be seen as to whether or not either player would be keen on a return to Spain ahead of next season.

Having both been instrumental at rivals Atletico Madrid, there is also that facet of the move to consider. Nevertheless, it seems as though Real aren’t bothered by it and are merely interested in bringing in a top player to strengthen their squad.

Donnarumma would seemingly be the most difficult of all three to prise away, as the 17-year-old has established himself as the top choice between the posts at Milan and is considered a pillar of their future and one of the young faces of the club for years to come.

While a delay over a contract extension and the impact of new Chinese ownership could influence whether or not the move happens remains to be seen, but he has publicly reiterated on several occasions how proud he is to play for the club he supported throughout his childhood.

In turn, it sets up a fascinating summer transfer market with either De Gea or Courtois potentially heading back to the Spanish capital.
