Chelsea and Arsenal target Marco Verratti has claimed that he would be tempted by a move away from PSG – but only to La Liga giants Barcelona, report The Sun.

Verratti has firmly established himself as one of the world’s most accomplished midfielders during his time in France. A classy distributor from from the base of the midfield and an effective shield to his back-line – any manager in the world would undoubtedly be keen to add him to their squad.

Two managers who appear to have made their interest concrete are Antonio Conte and Arsene Wenger, as The Sun report that both Chelsea and Arsenal are targeting the Italian international.

However, Verratti, who is in many ways comparable to Barcelona legend Xavi, appears to be open to stepping into the Spaniard’s shoes at the Camp Nou.

The Sun quote Verratti, who appears to leave the door open for a move to the Catalan giants: “Even though I am currently in a good project and I feel at home, any player would play for Barcelona. It is still the best team in the world.”
