Chelsea youngster unsure whether he will return to Stamford Bridge in the summer

Mario Pasalic is unsure whether he will be continuing at Chelsea once he returns from loan, report Calciomercato.

Pasalic has proven his credentials as an accomplished midfielder during his respective stints out on loan from Chelsea.

At Elche, he made 31 La Liga appearances, but we only saw glimpses of his quality. During his loan at Monaco last campaign, he bagged seven goals and established himself as a cornerstone in the side.

In the summer he sealed a season-long loan to Milan. It took him a while to get going at the San Siro, but is now considered an important member of their first-team squad.

It remains unclear whether Antonio Conte would be keen on drafting Pasalic into the Chelsea set-up in the summer – but that could well be against the wishes of the player himself.

Calciomercato cite Corriere dello Sport in reporting that Pasalic is unsure whether he will return to Stamford Bridge in the summer. He ought to avoid being the latest promising youngster to be swallowed by Chelsea’s loan system.
