Harry Kane has indicated that a knee injury he sustained during his side’s defeat to Gent in the Europa League is not serious, report the Daily Mail.

Kane has now firmly established himself as one of the Premier League’s best players and one of the best strikers in European football.

His electric form for Spurs throughout the past three seasons has seen him rise to the very top of the game. He has also spearheaded two Tottenham title challenges, both of which look as though they will be unsuccessful.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side still have work to do in the Premier League, however, the position among the top four is by no means certain. To ensure Champions League qualification for next term, Tottenham need to continue winning games.

They will be encouraged by the fact it doesn’t look as though they will be without their talisman for long. According to the Daily Mail, Kane has indicated that the damage done to his knee against Gent is not severe and he is not set for a prolonged spell on the sidelines.
