Inter director deals three Premier League clubs transfer blow as he insists Serie A giants’ talisman is going nowhere

Inter Milan sporting director Piero Ausilio has revealed that the Serie A giants have no interest in parting with Ivan Persic despite interest from the Premier League, report the Daily Star.

Perisic has been in fine form for Inter so far this campaign. The Croatian international has found the back of the net on seven occasions, and also provided two assists. He has very much established himself as a cornerstone in Inter’s side since joining from Wolfsburg in the summer of 2015, and it appears as though the club have absolutely no intentions of parting with him anytime soon.

The Star quote La Gazzetta dello Sport in reporting that three English heavyweights are interested in securing Perisic’s services. According to the Italian outlet, Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool are all pursuing the 28-year-old.

However, the Star quote Inter director Ausilio, who insists that the club’s talisman is going nowhere:

“I do not think it is either Perisic’s or our intentions for him to leave. He is part of a massive project and we do not want to sell our players. We cannot envisage an Inter without Perisic.”

The Premier League trio will have to look elsewhere in their respective searches for attacking reinforcements.
