Juventus right-back Dani Alves could be reunited with former boss Pep Guardiola at Manchester City, according to the Daily Mail.

Alves established himself as one of the best right-backs ever to play the game during an immensely successful stint at Barcelona. The 33-year-old won 23 pieces of silverware during his time at the Camp Nou, including six league titles and three Champions Leagues. He has also made 99 appearances for the Brazilian national team.

After 391 appearances and 21 goals, Alves called time on his Barcelona career in the summer, moving to Serie A giants Juventus. However, the Daily Mail believe that he could well be on the move again soon.

As per the Daily Mail, Alves is a target for Premier League giants Manchester City. The tabloid believe that Alves has a great relationship with Guardiola and the club’s Director of Football Txiki Beguiristain from their time at Barcelona.

The City faithful will undoubtedly be wary after what happened with Alves’ compatriot Maicon…
