Jose Mourinho’s cup final record is absolutely incredible, and it bodes well for Manchester United today.
Mourinho’s men face Southampton at Wembley this afternoon in the EFL Cup final. The Special One has already lifted the trophy three times during two spells at Chelsea, and he’s looking to add another to his collection today.
Man United will be encouraged by the fact that Mourinho does not often lose finals. In fact, out of the 12 he has been involved in as a manager, the Portuguese has lost just two – to Benfica and Real Madrid. Southampton will be hoping to add themselves to that list today.
