Southampton have pulled one back against Manchester United in the EFL Cup final at Wembley through Manolo Gabbiadini.
Man United held a two-goal first-half lead after Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Jesse Lingard both found the back of the net – however, that has now been halved.
Gabbiadini, who has been in fine form since joining the Saints in the January transfer window, had a goal wrongly disallowed with the scores level at 0-0. However, this one stands, and now it’s game-on.
