Italian giants to sell £35m pair to raise funds to launch assault for Arsenal talisman

Juventus are reportedly looking at selling Simone Zaza and Kingsley Coman in order to raise the necessary funds to prise Alexis Sanchez away from Arsenal.

The Chilean international will see his contract with the Gunners expire at the end of next season, and with no real progress in negotiations over a new deal, it’s not a particularly reassuring situation for supporters.

Further, the latest reports will do little to ease their nerves, as Tuttosport claim that Juve are putting together a plan in order to sign the 28-year-old this summer.

Coman is currently on a two-year loan deal at Bayern Munich and could be sold while Zaza is now at Valencia in a similar situation after a failed spell at West Ham United and is reportedly set to be sacrificed too.

Given that neither are doing anything to aid Juve’s bid to be successful currently anyway, this would seem like a no-brainer and another bit of good business from the Bianconeri, but it remains to be seen if they’re able to prise the Chilean forward away from north London.

Sanchez has scored 20 goals and provided 16 assists in 34 appearances in all competitions so far this season, underlining his quality and proving just how crucial he is to Arsenal.

In turn, it would be a shock to see him leave the Emirates, but if the club are unable to satisfy his demands from a financial point of view and offer him a chance to win silverware regularly, then perhaps he will only edge closer and closer to the exit door.
