Man Utd ace Jesse Lingard struck a brilliant goal in his side’s clash with Middlesbrough at the Riverside Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
The visitors were ahead in the first half via a Marouane Fellaini header, but they were guilty of missing some great opportunities to put the game to bed.
However, they were seemingly saving their best till later as Lingard broke and as the Moro defensive line continued to retreat and offered him time and space, he let fly with an attempt that flew into the top right corner to give Victor Valdes no chance.

With Jose Mourinho consistently moaning this week, and with good reason to be fair, about the fixture list, he’ll be delighted that his side have taken command of the game and look on course to secure all three points.
Having made seven changes to combat growing fatigue in the group and with injuries adding to his headaches, the Portuguese tactician will be confident that his side can see out the game with Boro failing to score in over eight hours of play in the Premier League now.
