Juventus defender Giorgio Chiellini is set to extend his contract with the Serie A heavyweights until the end of his career, according to Calciomercato.
Chiellini is one of the most illustrious players currently playing the game. The Juventus legend has made 426 appearances for the Serie A outfit. During his time in Turin, he has lifted 11 pieces of silverware, including five league titles – and his side are well on their way to winning a sixth.
His good performances for his club side have also seen him establish himself as a cornerstone in the Italian national side, for whom he has made 90 appearances.
Chiellini and Juventus are a match made in heaven, and it appears as though he will end his career with the Italian giants. Calciomercato report that he is set to extend his 12-year stint with Juventus until June 2020, when they believe he will call time on his playing career at 36-years-old.
