Real Madrid have agreed a deal in principal to sign Chelsea talisman Eden Hazard in the summer transfer window, report Calciomercato.
Hazard had a season to forget last time around, but is well and truly back to his best this term. In 26 Premier League appearances, the Belgian has found the back of the net on 11 occasions, and has also provided four assists for his teammates. His influence has been crucial in the Blues success this term, and he is well on his way to winning his second title since his arrival in England.
His good performances under Antonio Conte’s stewardship appear to have captured the attention of one of Europe’s biggest sides. According to Calciomercato, Real Madrid are interested in signing Hazard in the summer – and they appear to be taking major steps towards doing so.
Calciomercato cite DiarioGol in reporting that Los Blancos have agreed a deal with Chelsea for the exchange of Hazard’s services in the summer. There is no transfer fee noted in the report.
