Juventus interested in securing the services of six-goal Barcelona attacking midfielder in the summer transfer window

Juventus are interested in signing Barcelona attacking midfielder Rafinha Alcantara, report Calciomercato.

Rafinha came through the illustrious La Masia academy alongside brother Thiago, who is now playing for Bayern Munich. He initially struggled to establish himself as an important member of Barca’s squad, and subsequently left the club on loan to La Liga counterparts Celta Vigo.

His impressive form for the Spanish outfit earned him a spot in Luis Enrique’s squad for the next campaign – and it has proved to be an astute move from the Barca boss. Rafinha has directly contributed to eight goals in La Liga this term, having scored six times and provided two assists.

On average, the Brazilian has been directly involved in a goal every 133 minutes this season, and his good performances for the Catalan giants do not appear to have gone unnoticed.

Calciomercato report that Serie A champions Juventus are interested in securing Rafinha’s services in the summer transfer window. The Italian outlet note that his contract expires in 2020, so Barcelona will likely command a considerable fee in exchange for the 24-year-old.
