Liverpool will use centre-back Dejan Lovren to try and convince Inter Milan star Ivan Perisic in the summer, report Calciomercato.
Perisic established himself as one of the best players in the Bundesliga during his time with Wolfsburg. The Croatian made 88 appearances for the German outfit, finding the back of the net on 21 occasions. His good form in Germany’s top tier earned him a move to Serie A giants Inter Milan, where he has continued to showcase his talent.
Since moving to the San Siro, the 28-year-old has bagged 16 goals and provided nine assists in a season and a half. According to Calciomercato, Perisic’s performances have put him on the radar of two of the Premier League’s biggest sides.
Calciomercato report that both Liverpool and Manchester United are interested in signing Perisic. The Italian outlet believe that Liverpool believe they have the edge due to Persic’s compatriot and friend Lovren already playing at Anfield. It is noted that he could cost as much as £35million.
