Tuesday action from the Championship with Brighton v Birmingham, Derby v Fulham, Rotherham v Sheffield Wednesday, Aston Villa v QPR & Brentford v Leeds the pick of the matches from a busy coupon.
Its a a hectic coupon from the Championship tonight with all to play for with automatic promotion and playoff places all up for grabs.
Now that footballs back, having had to bare with the dull international break fortnight (I’m sure most football fans will agree) that’s just gone by, the silver lining is that we get three fixtures in the space of a week, as midweek Championship football returns.
With just seven games remaining for all clubs in the league, it’s crunch time for many of the sides at the top and bottom end of the table, as they look to either secure their survival, or push for one of the 6 places at the top of the table, hoping to be playing in the top flight of English football next season.

Tuesday will see the bulk of the midweek games for Championship clubs, and although there is nothing too exciting, there are a lot of fairly evenly matched contests, which should prove to provide some well fought matches and interesting games.
The likes of Sheffield Wednesday (facing Rotherham), Brighton (facing Birmingham City) and Reading (facing Blackburn) will all be hoping to pick up what should be a relatively easy three points on paper when looking at the table, but each of their opponents will be desperately trying to secure what they can from the respective games.
Rotherham are the first club in England to be relegated but Wigan, Blackburn & Bristol City are all in and around the dreaded relegation spots and are fighting for Championship survival. so there’s everything to play for.
It would be unwise to write them off, as it usually this end of the season where surprises are most common, and the lower table teams come up big.
And whilst we have these games to keep an eye on, elsewhere there are a fair few ties which are too close to call. The most namely of these is Derby vs Fulham, as both can be considered relatively strong Championship sides, and Fulham will have a hard time dealing keeping their 6th place playoff spot with this one.
Elsewhere, Leeds may also struggle to pick up the 3 points away at a relatively in form Brentford, and QPR and Aston Villa will be facing off in a good tie, with both teams pretty high up in the recent form table.
The games are coming thick and fast in the Championship.
