Juventus 3-0 Barcelona player ratings: Paulo Dybala bags two goals and a 9 rating as the Italian giants brush Barca aside

Juventus defeated Barcelona 3-0 in the first-leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie.

Juventus took the lead after seven minutes through Paulo Dybala. Juan Cuadrado isolated Jeremy Mathieu on the right-wing, and forced the Frenchman to backpedal into the box. Cuadrado then picked out Dybala, who fired home on the spin to give his side the lead. You can see that goal here.

Just over a quarter of an hour later, Dybala added a second. After an emphatic break from Juventus, the ball was played into the path of Dybala in the penalty area – and he made no mistake. The Argentine struck the ball into the bottom left corner of the goal to give his side some breathing space. Click here to see Dybala’s second.

Giorgino Chiellini added a third in the second half. The Italian rose above the Barcelona defence at the back post and his header hit the post and nestled in the back of the net. You can see the Juventus legend’s goal here.
