Inter Milan and AC Milan are set to lock horns in the race to sign Liverpool full-back Alberto Moreno in the summer transfer window, according to Goal.
Moreno moved to Anfield in the summer of 2014, and initially showed promise in a Liverpool shirt. However, it fast became clear that for all his qualities going forward, he was a serious liability defensively. Jurgen Klopp subsequently gave him the chop, and opted to field James Milner at left-back. The Englishman has since made that position his own.
Moreno could now look to leave the Reds in the summer transfer window, and Goal believe that there will be no shortage of interest. The website report that Serie A giants Inter Milan and AC Milan are both interested in securing his services in the summer.
Goal believe that Moreno will leave Liverpool in the upcoming transfer window if his £14.86million valuation is met.
