Chelsea transfer news: 17-goal striker targeted by four Chinese Super League sides, stunning £70M bid rejected

Chelsea striker Diego Costa is attracting interest from four Chinese Super League sides, according to Goal.

Despite having failed to score in his last four Premier League games, the first time he has gone four without a goal since his arrival in England, Costa remains one of the top goalscorers in the league.

The Chelsea hitman has found the back of the net 17 times in the league this campaign, and has also provided five assists for his teammates. His influence has been a major contributor to Chelsea’s success this campaign, and his good performances appear to be turning heads in the far east. Goal report that Costa is a summer target for as many as four Chinese clubs.

According to Goal, Tianjin Quanjian offered Chelsea £70million in exchange for Costa in the winter transfer window, but the Blues were unwilling to negotiate. The website claim that the Blues will have their resolve tested again in the upcoming months, with three more sides joining Tianjin in the race to secure his services.
