Manchester City outcast wants to stay with loan side beyond the current season, but he may not get his wish

On-loan Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart wants to remain with Torino beyond this season, according to the club’s manager Sinisa Mihajlovic, as reported by Calciomercato.

Hart was influential in two title triumphs for City, and established himself as one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League. However, Pep Guardiola had no interest in being sentimental upon his arrival at the Etihad in the summer, and subsequently gave Hart the chop.

Claudio Bravo was drafted in from Barcelona, with ability with the feet being valued over ability with the hands. Hart was shipped out on loan to Serie A outfit Torino.

It remains to be seen what Man City will choose to do with the England international at the season’s end, but we have just been given an impression of what Hart wants to do.

Calciomercato quote Torino boss Mihajlovic, who claims that Hart is happy in Turin and wants to stay with the club beyond the current season: Hart wants to stay at Torino but we are all aware, both him and the club, that we can’t buy him. At the most we could take him on loan for another year but that depends on both Manchester City and him.
