Man Utd target drops major hint that he’s set to complete imminent move

Real Madrid striker Alvara Morata has been heavily linked with a move to Man Utd this summer, and he could have just confirmed the deal himself.

As reported by Marca, the Spanish international has reportedly told Los Blancos that he’s leaving and in turn is close to sealing a move to Old Trafford.

It comes as he continued to struggle to establish himself as a regular first-team starter last season, although he did show his worth with 20 goals in 43 appearances for Zinedine Zidane’s side as they won the La Liga and Champions League double.

The post in question is below, courtesy of @Manchester___United___fans on Instagram, where they claim that Morata is set to join the Red Devils, and he will try to convince Gareth Bale and James Rodriguez to join him in Manchester ahead of next season.

The situation went into meltdown when it was spotted that Morata himself had liked the post, as seen in the screenshot below.

This isn’t official confirmation or anything close to it, but when the player at the centre of the transfer speculation is liking posts linking him with a move to a club the media are certain he’s set to join, then it all adds up to make it fairly certain that he’ll be at United very soon.

Naturally, the reaction was a positive one as after it became apparent that Morata had liked the post, countless fans commented on it and began to prematurely welcome him to Man Utd. It’ll now be interesting to see if the 24-year-old does indeed bring one of his current teammates with him to Manchester…
