Man Utd prepare whopping £183m plus player exchange deal for La Liga duo

Man Utd are reportedly putting together a stunning offer to Real Madrid in order to prise both Cristiano Ronaldo and Alvaro Morata to Manchester.

While Morata has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford in recent weeks, Ronaldo made the headlines last week after it was reported that he wanted to quit Madrid amid accusations of tax fraud.

Coupled with a lack of support from the Spanish giants, it’s suggested that he’s ready to walk out this summer, and The Daily Mail report that United are ready to put an incredible bid on the table for both players.

It’s claimed that the Red Devils will offer £183m along with David De Gea, a long-time Madrid target, in order to tempt the La Liga champions into parting company with two of their most important players.

Ronaldo’s record and trophy haul during his time in the Spanish capital speaks for itself, and so the club will undoubtedly be doing everything possible to convince the 32-year-old to stay. Meanwhile, things are a little more complicated with Morata, as he hasn’t been given the playing time that he craves after his return from a two-year stint at Juventus.

The 24-year-old continues to impress when he does get a chance and so it’s difficult to see why Madrid don’t put more faith in him, but ultimately it looks as though he’s more likely to move on rather than establish himself at the Bernabeu.

Ronaldo is currently on international duty with Portugal at the Confederations Cup, and so in turn it’s unlikely that there will be a definitive answer over his future until that tournament concludes. However, Man United have set their stall out with this eye-watering offer, and it remains to be seen whether or not a deal can be done between the two European giants.
