Serie A side Roma are attempting to negotiate a deal for Man United and France winger Anthony Martial, with the Italian side enquiring about taking the player on loan for the whole of next season, as per the Mirror.
However United, who have recently confirmed the signing of Everton striker Romelu Lukaku, aren’t interested in a loan deal for Martial and, according to the Mirror, are said to be wanting £30M for the winger who scored four goals in 25 league appearances last season.
With the Serie A runners-up having already confirmed the departure of winger Mohamed Salah to Liverpool, Roma have money to spend, with the club eager to get a deal done for Martial who they see as being surplus to requirements at United, as reported by the Mirror.
Should United let Martial leave for Roma, whether that be on loan or permanently, it’ll be interesting to see who they bring in as a replacement for the former Monaco man.
