Marseille have held talks with Scottish champions Celtic over a potential deal for highly-rated 21-year-old striker Moussa Dembele, according to Sky Sports.
Dembele, who managed an impressive 32 goals in 51 appearances in all competitions last season as the Hoops went unbeaten domestically, is reportedly valued by the Scottish club at around £20M, as per Sky Sports.
As reported by Sky Sports, the two clubs met in Glasgow for discussions over a potential deal for Dembele, who joined the club from Championship side Fulham last summer after his contract at Craven Cottage expired.
However Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers has stated that he is unwilling to let the player leave until after the Scottish champions’ last Champions League qualifier in August, report Sky Sports.
Should Dembele make the move from Scotland to France, it’ll be interesting to see how his current club Celtic decide to invest the small fortune that they are set to receive for the Frenchman.
