(Video) Isco puts on absolute masterclass for Spain, Verratti nutmeg lights up social media

Real Madrid and Spain star Isco is in the finest form of his career to date, as he put on a superb display against Italy on Saturday night.

Aside from scoring a brace in the 3-0 win over the Azzurri at the Bernabeu, the 25-year-old dazzled with his skill on the ball as he repeatedly left his rivals embarrassed.

His first goal was a sweetly struck free-kick, although some will argue that Gianluigi Buffon should have done better. Similarly, question marks were raised over the defending for his second, but take nothing away from the close control and arrowed finish into the bottom corner.

It was a performance that oozed class from Isco, and he continues to establish himself as a fundamental figure for both club and country with his importance to both continuing to grow.

For those looking beyond the bits of skill, with the nutmeg on Marco Verratti the obvious stand-out moment as it delighted the crowd at the Bernabeu as well as those watching at home, his overall savviness and football brain makes him a joy to watch and one of the top players in Europe.
