Coleen Rooney is reportedly planning a week in Dubai in October, sparking fresh fears that tension could grow between her and husband Wayne Rooney.
The 31-year-old has dominated headlines over the past week after he was arrested for drink-driving, while it was later revealed that he was driving a female companion home which unsurprisingly left his partner furious.
Reports suggested that Rooney’s marriage could be in trouble, while The Sun have now added that things don’t show much signs of improving in the long term.
It’s reported that Coleen is set to go ahead with plans to spend a week away in Dubai which involves attending a soccer school as she’s said to be taking her three sons with her during half-term while she’s expecting the couple’s fourth child.
However, Rooney won’t be able to join them as he has three key fixtures with Everton over that period, and so despite the Sun reporting that during showdown talks he offered to stop boozing on nights out if she cut back on her holidays, it doesn’t look as though Coleen is going to change her plans.
Rooney is set to appear in court on September 18 over his drink-driving charge, while he has to now focus on Everton after Ronald Koeman handed him a warning.
Nevertheless, it looks as though his home life is going to remain complicated for a while yet and time will tell if he can behave himself next time while his wife is away.
