A lot is expected of Charly Musonda Jr at Chelsea, and he may well be set to get his biggest opportunity to impress yet this week.
After a couple of brief appearances this season, the 20-year-old has taken to Instagram to suggest that he could be in line to make his Champions League debut.
Chelsea take on Qarabag at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night, and Musonda is possibly set to be given the nod by Antonio Conte based on this post as the Italian looks to rotate his squad.
After a decent loan spell with Real Betis last season, the attacking midfielder has also worked his way through the Belgium youth levels, featuring from U15 level right through to U21.
Now it’s time for him to start playing regularly at club level, and while that’s unlikely for now given the quality and options at Conte’s disposal, he has to take his opportunity when given one and perhaps the first one is about to arrive against Qarabag…
