Arsenal and Tottenham look set to miss out on the signing of PSG prospect Adrien Rabiot.

The French midfielder is out of contract at the end of the season, and both Arsenal and Tottenham have been monitoring the former Man City youth player.

According to Calciomercato, Italian giants Inter Milan have stolen a march on Arsenal and Spurs in their pursuit of Rabiot.

Inter were interested in signing Rabiot in 2014, but the French midfielder decided to stay in Paris.

However, Rabiot’s contract ends in 2018 and the player is looking to leave PSG should he fail to establish himself this season.

PSG are likely to offer Rabiot a new contract, after the player made 39 appearance for the club last season.

Arsenal face Chelsea at Stamford Bridge tomorrow with Arsene Wenger confident he can beat the Premier League champions.

“I’m confident that away from home we will get the points we want, but certainly mentally for our team it is important to play well and get a positive result”, Wenger told Sky Sports.

“As always the key is to be much better defensively than we were at Anfield, and to be much more dangerous going forward. By not being too obsessed by our opponent and not to forget to play our football.”
