Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino has given a stark warning to key midfielder Dele Alli.
Alli has severed ties with agent Rob Segal, and Pochettino is aware a host of ‘super-agents’ are trying to sign the England international.
Though Alli signed a new contract with Tottenham last season, the club are aware that should the midfielder sign with Jorge Mendes or Mino Raiola there will be interest from La Liga.
Both Real Madrid and Barcelona have been linked with the former MK Dons player, with Alli reportedly hoping to leave the club during the summer.
“It’s not my business,” Pochettino told Metro . ‘If he would ask me, sure I would advise him. But it’s not my business. At the moment he didn’t ask me about that.”
“His big issue must be to focus on trying to improve and develop his game, to stop and try to be better every day. That is my focus, too, my biggest issue.”
“It’s important to find a trusted person that can help you to be better every day and help in all the business.”
“In the past, it was completely different. Today the players are products with a lot of things happening around them.”
