Real Madrid plot sensational Premier League star raid for combined 178-goal duo

Real Madrid are plotting a gigantic double swoop for Premier league stars Alexis Sanchez of Arsenal and Tottenham’s Harry Kane.

Don Balon reported on Monday that Zinedine Zidane is eyeing up Kane after failing to find a replacement for Alvaro Morata who was sold to Chelsea earlier in the window.

With Karim Benzema now injured, the club’s centre-froward frailty has been highlighted with the Los Blancos coach indicating that a new forward is Madrid’s top transfer priority with Borja Mayoral currently being the only natural striker available.

However, it is Sanchez who has been mostly linked to a move to the Bernabeu with less than twelve months remaining on his contract at Arsenal. Arsene Wenger may look to offload him in January for some return on the player rather than let him walk away for nothing, so Madrid have been keeping tabs on the attacker.

Don Balon say Kane is more of a long-term target rather than a short-term fix in Sanchez with the former looking to be a replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo, once his age catches up with him according to club president Florentino Perez.

Kane has racked up 106 goals so far Tottenham whilst Sanchez has netted 72 times for the Gunners since his move in 2014 meaning they have a combined 178 goals between them.

Kane has won the Premier League golden boot for the past two seasons.
