21-year-old Chelsea and England star Ruben Loftus-Cheek has spoken out about his loan move to fellow Premier League side Crystal Palace and his future with the Blues, saying that he felt “it was the right time to go away” from the club, according to the Daily Star.

Loftus-Cheek, who has come through the youth setup at Stamford Bridge, secured a loan move to Selhurst Park earlier this summer and has said that he is enjoying his time with Roy Hodgson’s side so far despite the fact that the south London club currently sit bottom of the Premier League as per the Daily Star.

Loftus-Cheek, who was speaking at an event for the launch for EA Sports’ FIFA 18, said “I’m really just enjoying playing, that’s the main thing for me at the moment. I just want to play as many games as possible and improve.”
